The Ulysse Anchor tourbillon took 8 years of R & D to create a landmark complication. Although first introduced at Basel world 2014 as a prototype, we now see the refinements attained within a year and now as close to perfection as one can get.

The Ulysse Anchor escapement is made 100% from Silicum which for those not in the know, is a material which is extremely light, not affected by magnetism and requires no lubrication which is ideal for the regulation part of a mechanical time piece. We now have the ideal scenario of this remarkable achievement encased in a 60-seconds tourbillon, whose cage comprises 35 components but weighs no more than 0.4 grams and believe it has a 7 days power reserve to boot (perfection maybe)
