I have been asked so far by a couple of readers of this blog, if Rolex sponsor me to write articles about their time pieces, the belief being in the short existence of this site, we have talked a great deal about Rolex and not enough about other watch brands. To be candid all the articles written by me, are my beliefs. and we will not agree to such. As far as we are concerned Rolex make fine time pieces which are not only engineered beautifully (no gimmicks) but also timeless.  That is why I have used my own money to buy two Rolex Watches.

The Rolex Yacht Master, I am not afraid to say was not my favourite Rolex watch( I found it too loud). But then I had a Damascus moment when I saw the new Yacht Master I became a convert instantly.

It has a 40mm diameter case made of 18ct Everose gold, it uses the calibre 3135 movement (Rolex in-house) the bracelet be careful not to call it a strap is an oyster-flex made of flexible metal blades over moulded with high performance elastomer with  folding safety clasp in 18ct Everose gold. Suffice to say this is another Rolex classic which will stand the test of time.
